How credit hours affect GPA
A weighted GPA multiplies each course’s grade points by its credit hours, adds those products and divides by the total credits. A course carrying more credits contributes more to the answer.
Enter matching comma-separated lists. With grade points 4 and 3 and credits 3 and 1, GPA is (4×3 + 3×1) ÷ 4 = 3.75. This form accepts points from 0 to 4; it does not translate a university’s letter grades into points.
